Re: Not a recommended cleaning method

I now know that they identify cars awaiting their wash & scrape by lifting up a wiper arm, so beware. I don't think you can lift the arm unless you've left the blades engaged, so we could be lucky there. About 2 months back I'd just washed mine and had to pop to the supermarket. It was gleaming...

Re: Beside the seaside...

Thanks Kas,

Now that I'm back on-line, I'll need to look into a Macan meet up for us Southerners.

I see the PCGB have a thing at Hedingham Castle in a month or so but its 911 focussed (and £25 a head). Hedingham is nice tho, but I have to say that as it's where I got married.

Ooh I do like a good old chart. You do well to remember to capture the detail each time Ferdie.

I think I have a fault in the binnacle display in my car though, there is no chance that my range will ever go higher than 450 and the average mpg hasn't started with a digit higher than 2.

Re: Porsche Racing Green anyone?

Not sure the green suits the Macan to be honest. As Kas said, better on a 911.

I liked the green Mel was getting for that Targa a while ago.

Beside the seaside...

Morning all, not posted on this new version of the forum - it kept on not liking my password but all sorted now. Anyway, the GTS paid a visit to the seaside on Saturday...

Coloured Crests on wheel centres

I've got 21" Turbos on my GTS and they came with full colour centre caps.

Ditto - there wasn't an option to spec them, they just came coloured.

GTS owners are you happy

Love mine, it does exactly what I bought it for... Which was to replace a Boxster with a family car. I wanted a car that I could fit everyone in, along with some of the guff that goes with having a wife and 2 kids, you know like 5 pairs of shoes for a weekend trip, 8 or 9 changes of outfits, a shoul...

Not for me thanks!

It was the ewok they got into after golf.
To be fair to the passenger, he seemed pretty keen to get his shades and hat on, and to sit as low in the seat as possible. Perhaps he'd had an embarrassing round... but I suspect he was more concerned about being seen LOL

Any man buying one of those should be flogged and cast out unto the wilderness. My mate (51) came round one Sunday to show me (49) his new MX5 (don't ask). We went out for a spin and all I could see were ladies of a certain age shaking their heads at such a waste of two fine men that could've contrib...
