Re: All weather tyres
I have finally got round to replacing the tyres on my GTS. They were the factory fitted Michelin Latitude Tour HP's and they've lasted just over 38,000 miles over 3 years but are now getting down to around 3mm and were recommended for replacement at its first MOT. As others have mentioned they are t...

Re: Taycan Official Launch
The wheels aren't to my taste but I agree with VanB - it's a lot closer to the Mission E concept than the disguised spy shots had led us to believe. Not entirely sure about that front end but I'm sure it will grow on me, and look forward to seeing what it looks like in other colours and with differe...

Re: Transfer box - Survey of members
Well my transfer box has now been replaced (with the modified version) and since then it has been accelerating nice and smoothly again. Fingers crossed there is no re-occurrence!

Re: Transfer box - Survey of members
My GTS (Feb 2017 delivery, 30k miles) has been exhibiting the juddering on acceleration from time to time for a while now (generally associated with the All Wheel Drive / Torque Split display showing a full 50% being sent to the front wheels even in dry conditions) and upon taking it into Porsche Gl...

Heated seats strange behaviour
As others have said, that is not normal. For what it's worth I saw the exact same behaviour you describe on my old BMW i3's driver heated seat when it went faulty - needed a new heating pad in the end if I recall.

Adaptive cruise control braking
One aspect I really like about the ACC is that if you have it set in the MFD then you get a visual representation of the speed of the car it has picked up in front relative to your current / set speed, even if you don't currently have the ACC active at the time.

Bizarre cruise control quirk
Don't think I notice that behaviour myself, but then I always leave it "on" but inactive, so I just set it by pushing the stalk away. Try doing that instead of pressing the button at the end of the stalk first and see if you get the same behaviour.Simonc 2017-04-10 14:16:44

Anybody had their code yet for new Connect ?
Having driven the opposite way around the M25 today it seems I may have been a bit harsh on the pocketgpsworld list - it looks like it is more accurate than I first thought and I think yesterday I may have just been getting thrown by getting alerts about adjacent road cameras and mobile camera sites...

Upload POI from SD
Well you can either upload individual POIs, which is what Charles Elliot is talking about in the bit you've pasted (useful for sending a particular address to the car that you want to navigate to, for example - which you can also do with the PCM Connect App), or you can upload entire lists (useful f...

Got my code and found a 500mb map update for the car. so thats nice. Not sure I'll use all the apps to be fair to find cheap petrol and things. But nice to see we get map updates. Might have to see if we can stick speed cameras in there. be interesting to see how it works as it might alert when yo...
