Re: How to clean exhaust tips

I would go cautious to start with using Autosol on your black exhaust tips as it is an abrasive metal polish and works by removing the surface of the metal, as well as the oxidation. That said, the finish may be a ceramic type coating which is very hard and the soot and deposits will come off long b...

Re: Limited buying power

Items like Pana Roofs come in and out of fashion. What is popular today may not be tomorrow. I always reckon buy the extra that suit your own needs rather than the next buyers. I'd agree with that sentiment, I did not choose Pano, I though it was fine. If you personally feel the benefit the cost ma...

I think the Chiron and the Veron before it use air springs.

That's interesting - you have put me right  certainly means there is no technical barrier to doing it - I'm guessing that 'short movement' steel springs don't cut it on a 2000kg car!

Re: First Porsche: 2019 Macan S

To be more explicit Nick I think I'd be right to say there is not a single sports car that uses air suspension? Whereas all contemporary super-sport cars have a 'PASM' (computer aided damping) option, if not as standard. Certainly McLaren have a very nifty system. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkw...

Re: Summer Winter Tyres

As I read the "Jack" comment, it reminds me that I am curious to know if anyone has changed their own wheels over and if so were there issues getting the TPMS to hook up to the correct sensor and wheel location? Yes I do mine myself. You just use a trolley jack and one of the hockey puck adapters w...

Re: Porsche 911 Carrera T

Ferdie, yep sorry I'm a newbie here. And I just wonder - is there any tap and die toolsets (like these: https://cozyhousetoday.com/how-to-use-tap-and-die-set), but not universal, and specially for 911 ?.. I think to make a present for husband, and don't want to ask him about it of course, because i...
