Re: 9 month SD review
Thanks all for your thoughts. Spud, interesting you prefer the 14 way after having 18 way. I think I've read a few others who say that. Anyone gone the other way from 14 to 18 way and which did you prefer? Spud - in preferring the diesel does this have anything to do with performance? Torque perhaps...

Re: 9 month SD review
Great write up thanks. I was in a similar situation re location. Whilst living in Germany I specced mine for UK and bought it there (Mayfair) thinking that I'd be moving back. Now living in Romania! Ref rear view: Are you sure that your rear centre headrest is at it's lowest setting? I only realise...

Re: 9 month SD review
Glad you are enjoying the Macan. Very good write up and reflective of actually living with an SD. Just press the Sport button and then press the PASM button until no lights show and you will have the ride comfort but the Sport response of the engine and gearbox. If you scroll through the menus in t...

9 month SD review
It's almost 9 months since I received my SD after a long wait and delays back then. I think I've had it long enough to review the car, the features I selected, and those I would get now if I was ordering again. Firstly, I love the car. It's fantastic to drive, love being able to eat up slow moving c...

Hi Cyprus macan. I'm also based in Cyprus (Nicosia). Did you ask the OPC? If it's still under warranty, you might be able to get it sorted out. If you shipped it over from UK, might be a bit trickier.
Some pics would help. Any accidents, or other explanation for it?

I went to my OPC 3 months before the build date to add sports chrono and they said too late unless I want to lose my build slot. Glad I didn't because I might have still been waiting for the car. Would have added a few more things if I had those extra couple of months. For whatever reason it seems T...

20%deposit also sounds high!
No competition means they can make their own rules. Don't see why it would affect the lock down though. They would make more money if they set it 6 weeks before build date.

Lock down on final spec is about six weeks before build date. That's factory dictated. Ask why the salesperson is telling you different. Don't know how that is if for me in Cyprus it was 3.5 months before build date. I had two weeks between 20% deposit and lock down. Don't think the factory dictate...
