Re: Satnav not recognising address

That’s handy to know as I’ve had a similar problem several times and have resorted to google maps on my phone.

Re: Is Sports Chrono worth it ?

I wondered about it but didn’t spec it initially, reasoning that I could get it retro fitted if I felt I needed it and I didn’t want the dial spoiling the lines of the dash top. Never had it retro fitted, it’s an SUV for road use, not a track day car, and being a mechanical engineer my sympathies fo...

Re: Waiting patiently for my Macan!

We’ve been to the PEC at silverstone twice and stayed overnight as it’s a 3 hour drive and it’s definitely worth it. Stayed in Towcester one time and a small village pub near the circuit the other time, not particularly expensive either time. We both enjoyed both times and made full use of the track...

Re: Fuel costs

Who cares, it’s fun to drive. I go out just for a drive, only look at the fuel gauge to decide whether I need to fill up at the start or the end of my outing!

Re: Maserati Levante

Just taken a short test drive in the petrol Levante S, only about half an hour or so with the sales rep on board so had to be a bit restrained! It certainly goes well and sounds great, definitely faster off the line than my Macan S , but it has an extra 90 bhp so you would expect it to be. The ride ...

Re: Cleaner roads? Dyson to make EV

Just make a electric version of the Macan, mine hoovers enough muck off the road onto its rear to easily outdo most vacuum cleaners!

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS

Make sure you get the buy back deal in writing with details of any mileage limits and costs if there are any and any time limits on the deal. Are there any charges for wear and tear and what if it's accident damaged while you have it? If it's not written in the contract it doesn't exist. Enjoy your ...

Re: sim card in PCM

Slightly off topic but still on phones. My car is set to link Bluetooth to both my and my wife's phone, but even if I get in the car first to get it out onto the drive and my wife then comes out of the house and gets in, her phone ends up being the one the car links to. Even worse, one time when I w...

Re: Various problems - Is it just me?

My pcm went to black and white with no station logos shown and at the same time the map would not display in the right hand multifunction display. Took OPC three attempts but it now seems ok, first attempt replaced the dashboard wiring harness, second attempt replaced the dashboard display, final on...
