Have you had the WMD 1 PCM system update? My letter arrived in May 2021 and the free update to my 2016 SD a few weeks ago sorted out quite a few problems I had been having with the satnav. In fact I had started to use the Apple CarPlay satnav as more reliable than the Porsche system.

IMO the pano roof should be the decider, given the use to which you will put the car and the fact you have a family to put in it. No pano means the interior is, as others have said, gloomy and more so in the back. You will have a lot of fun it it, whichever you choose.

Re: Re-progamming DME Control Unit
Had the winter wheel swop done today at Porsche Portsmouth. The DME update was already on the job card. I told them to remove it and, to be fair, they did so. The service guy later told me I was not alone in refusing to have the "update" carried out. But it is clear that eternal vigilance ...

Re: Homelink
IMO Homelink is a waste of money. It is the one option on my McCann that I would never specify again. To programme each garage door I had to set up the garage door opener, then climb down the ladder, get inside the car, press the correct Homelink button, then to the front of the car, set up the car'...

Re: One for Wingco
Emoji air fresheners? Really? I suppose I would not get many You Tube views opening a window and flapping a towel around. Mind you, I did specify ventilated seats for my Macan. Perhaps I could post a You Tube video of those working. Perhaps it would lead to this champagne lifestyle I keep hearing ab...

Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I agree with all the above and hope all enjoy happy Macan motoring in 2018. But. It would be nice if we had more of those high-pressure winter days. Blue skies, crisp, clear, cold air. And somewhere nice to get to in the Macan. The reality in this part of Hampshire and West Sussex is very different....
