Re: Parking Macan in garage
That PDK gearbox is by no means perfect-especially in reverse. I find the 'regular' 8 speed box in the Cayenne much easier to live with for day to day driving

How old is the battery I imagine the senses voltage- wont start if it got too low. That would make it erratic

Re: Dashboard Compass
If its anything like getting a clock for a Cayenne- too difficult. I eventually got the clock for 1000 pounds, what it fits into was 200 pounds but then Porsche wouldn't sell a cable!

Re: New V8 Touareg 'most powerful diesel German SUV'
I often wonder what I would do if something happened to my my big Cayenne. Now I have the answer. The silly thing is that its big diesel uses so little fuel-therefore pollutants- 8.5 l/100km in its life.

Re: Rusty clip
They look like generic clips found on every gas strut- probably worth 25p. Assuming its the same as the Cayenne, you can get a flat screwdriver and just ping it off or slide it away- you can see the groove it sits in.

Just take it gently and make sure you've got every little screw- and a warm day helps as you pop out each side. It will probably need re coding after.

Re: Tyre wear?
I'm having the same trouble on a Cayenne. In order to stop it scrubbing the car pulls to the left (enough to require constant pressure). The dealer has been onto it for a year, seven wheel alignments, new tyres, even custom made bushes for more adjustment. I think they imagine I'll get sick of it all.

Re: V8 long run fuel economy
This is the sad thing. We're going to be bullied into driving tiny buzz boxes through ignorance. My V8 diesel Cayenne has used 8.5 l /100 km (33.23 mpg) in its life. And that includes the very occasional blast to 200 kph if I'm feeling particularly stupid.
