Ah! Yes mine are the older mats without corner amendment. I suppose for me like toddle it just wasn’t an issue. I never noticed to be honest. Now I’ve seen the picture that compares them, it all makes sense. For £50 I’d go with it if I were you, they still sit nicely and don’t get in the way at all.

Have done it too, can’t say I really noticed any difference. Just hit 14k so plenty of driving done. Felt a bit silly doing it as it doesn’t make any logical sense?

Found out by accident. Sensor @ back of mirror is for automatic dimming mirrors. Put your finger over for a while and watch your wing mirrors. Only if u have that option obviously?

I should imagine the OPC would have checked the compatibility list ?
