Re: New brake pads at less than 17k miles

The rear pads sometimes can some times wear out first if the car is fitted with the likes of PSM in Porches case who also use the rear brakes with their PTV Plus rear torque vectoring system

Re: TPMS.... accuracy

I think you will find Nitrogen molecules are actually larger than O2 mix although the latter weigh more. see 5th para. Very small difference though

Re: TPMS.... accuracy

If you are really concerned with accuracy of your tyre pressures, then get your OPC or tyre fitter to fill with Nitrogen. If they do it properly they will purge all the air from the tyres and with the nitrogen in the pressures will stay very much constant as it is the moisture when filled with air t...

Re: Glasgow OPC

I have just had a look back through my e-mails but can not find the video. I received very bad service from my OPC ( not connected with the leak) and after politely escalating within the branch there was no Service Manager at the time. I was offered a free first service which I accepted. Reading you...

Re: Glasgow OPC

Re the leak from the front sill. I had this on collection of my 2017 C2 GTS. In my case it was the overflow from the windscreen washer bottle. Re: Discs and pads all round for cayenne 64plate

If your Cayenne has just had a Brake fluid change be aware that when the pistons are pushed back into the callipers to accommodate the new pad and disc thickness the fluid level will rise in the reservoir and could well overflow so steps must be taken to stop the fluid getting on paintwork etc. Also...

Re: Silverstone

I thought it was only PDK equipped cars that had launch control, with a manual it is down to your own reactions. Don’t want any over revs showing up on the data down loads

Re: Windscreen replacement

Crack appeared on windscreen on our Macan, phone NFU, "can I have Porsche fit and calibrate". No problem sir just get the OPC to e-mail quote. Book car in with OPC for 8th as need a loan car. 2 days later phone call from NFU saying they will send cheque for cost less my £70 excess. (Total ...
