Re: Air Suspension - is this a fault?

Hi, I have air suspension and it too sometimes drops right down at the front like that over course of a weekend, it’s done it for well over a year. Had it serviced in the meantime by OPC Bristol and they didn’t identify anything wrong with the car, so I’m hoping it’s ok and normal- would be really i...

Re: Re-progamming DME Control Unit

Hi I was told my 66 plate SD had this update done at is service in late November. I was deeply suspicious as only one once did I had a dpf regen warning which was after a short hard run (but that cleared the next morning after I forced a regen following advice on the Forum) and was happily typically...

Re: SD residuals - What's the verdict?

Hi, just had mine serviced at 40k after 18 months, decided to take out an extended 2 year warranty to hedge my bets at change over time at end of next year when the pcp expires. ;) The SD is the perfect blend of performance, comfort and (relative) economy for me. Btw, had a 320d m sport as a courtes...

Regenerate Particulate Filter

Ferdie, I'm in a VG one.... and if you see a trail of soot billowing out behind me, at least we'll know the blasted dpf will be 'regenerating' again

Regenerate Particulate Filter

I've had my SD since Christmas and put on 8k miles in the first 5 months... usually do a 60 mile daily commute on country roads here in Gloucestershire plus some motorway trips so assumed this sort of running would be ideal to avoid DPF isssues but...The dreaded warning light came on a few weeks ago...

Recommendations for bike rack?

Just wondered if anyone had any advice re a good bike rack to attach to the rear trailer hook? Looking at space for x3 bikes. The Porsche Tequipment web site shows a nice and foldable one, but only space for x2 bikes.

Macan Diesel S 1 month review

Great review JohnPhiladelphiaLikewise, I'm only 2 weeks and 1,000 miles into my SD and its really interesting to get the experience of a fellow owner whose come across from a cls. I too changed to get better traction amongst other things, and with air and 20inch on the macan, my first impressions is...

De-icing headlights

Got my new SD day before Christmas, it's fantastic, so pleased with the advice of the forum folks on the spec which whilst pushed my budget right up and then some to 63k, has resulted in a great car in all my respects. With another sharp frost forecast tonight, wondered what to do about about removin...
