Re: New kind of theft?
Is there anyway that these posts can be prevented from getting to the search engines? If not then we're pushing alot of undesirable ideas out there ;) I think this would be quite pointless, even if possible. I wouldn’t be surprised if thieves monitor car forums of the vehicles they are interested in.

Re: What a (good) day
Now that you've read everyone's opinions, do you really want a Macan?

Re: What a (good) day
The "GTS" in Red on the Blades would look nice. Personally, I would also add Bose, but it all comes down to personal choice and budget. I used to have the 18 way seats on my first Macan and found them to be very uncomfortable. On my 2nd Macan, the GTS, I had the standard 8 ways and was muc...

Re: Porsche Vodafone tracker renewal
They must be popular, because it's impossible to get any of their products as everything is "sold out"! I believe they have new devices coming in. 2G, which many trackers utilize, is being phased out, so current trackers utilizing that network will be defunct, hence new devices are being ...

Home charger is a must.
I have mine via OVO - they charge 7p per KW and you can charge anytime, unlike most suppliers who will only give the reduced rate during the hours of midnight to 5am.
The acceleration of an EV is thrilling.

Re: Porsche Vodafone tracker renewal
My concern with having a factory fitted tracker is the location, which is likely to always be in the same place. If so, it's easy for thieves to locate once it becomes known. I've mentioned them before, and I get no reward for doing so, but Automatrics are the best tracker / stolen vehicle recovery ...

Re: Porsche is being sued after the "Felicity Ace" fire...
I’m seeing a lot of pushback from insurers who are being asked to cover large fleets of EV’s stored in a single location. Conditions such as having a 3M clear zone around each vehicle... Is that 3 metres or 3 miles? ;) :P Well, at present, it is metres, but the more risk averse insurers will no dou...

I’m seeing a lot of pushback from insurers who are being asked to cover large fleets of EV’s stored in a single location. Conditions such as having a 3M clear zone around each vehicle. Effectively, requiring 2 parking spaces per vehicle which halves the number of cars you can facilitate in a single ...

Re: Soddin’ SatNav.
It seems that most now use Google maps.
I know this shouldn’t be the case when buying a vehicle with a built in Sat Nav system, but a number of manufacturers no longer provide mapping, knowing that customers will resort to their phones.

Re: Hopefully Not The Beginning of A New Trend
Yes, but buyers won't necessarily know whether pre-owned by a victim of theft. Sure, there's a lot of dodgy stuff on eBay. But car owners faced with the dilemma of paying a garage £1000 for a genuine part or £250 for a "second-hand" part aren't usually going to ask too many questions. Cor...
