Re: Bodywork scratch - advice appreciated.

Very annoying from some jealous low life. To buck the trend here - you can get it repaired to a high standard (at high cost) but unless you can be confident where it was done and avoid that place, isn't there just a high chance of it happening again? I would be reluctant to spend a lot of money repa...

Re: Selling - payment

Good thread... but I think the bank bits are not quite correct. I was able to transfer the full funds to Porsche for my new car via FPS, but under some circumstances it might be possible to recall this (as mentioned above). CHAPS is pretty much unlimited and not possible to recall. So offer to pay t...

Re: Oil level measurement currently unavailable

Thanks. Just to be clear, I haven't added any oil - ever. Nor did I get supplied with some on pickup. I will keep an eye on it and see what happens. Going on a long run on Saturday - perhaps I will check what oil I need just in case it decides I am low!

Oil level measurement currently unavailable

Macan SD. 19 months old. 15,500 miles I have occasionally kept an eye on the oil level and since new, it has gradually fallen but remained within the green area that states "oil level correct". I have attempted to check the level over the last 2 days and it consistently states that "oil level measur...

Mine (SD) stick out about 0.5cm, maybe 1cm. But they are all the same!

Re: Warranty Claims Poll / Data

SD
18 months old, 14,000 miles
Possible tiny oil leak from the PDK. Advised that it is so small that it will not have any detrimental effect on the car and no need to replace the PDK.
1 replacement windscreen
Otherwise no problems so far

Re: On the LOOK OUT for SD or Turbo to BUY

The SD is still a great car. I doubt I would drive any faster in a turbo. It would be better for overtaking - on the rare occasions where you get a chance. But otherwise I don’t think it makes much difference to most people. Except for the fact that visits for fuel are very infrequent in an SD - whi...
