Re: Frozen Doors & Windows solution

Hi Ian. I am not sure gummi pflege is designed to do the windows unless the windows are on the rubber which the Macan is amongst many others. It does work with 911 and Audi A5 that have frameless windows where the window freezes to the rubber not allowing the window to drop to open the door. I will ...

Re: JLR staff cuts.

They have been too slow to more into the EV market too. More like an over-dependence on diesel engines as none of their competitors have seriously moved into the EV market yet. You could even argue Jaguar are leading the charge in their particular EV sector with the iPace. But I really don't think ...

Re: JLR staff cuts.

When around 80% of European car sales from JLR are diesels then that’s a problem since diesels have been demonised. China slowdown has hit them hard Uncertainty across various markets etc also is a problem. They have been too slow to more into the EV market too. A number of factors. Ford will announ...

Re: Wheels

I have been told they Dont get commission on options. As stated this could be different at various OPC. Obviously there is more profit but not necessarily more commission. I know from people in the know that numerous other manufacturers pay commission on the car sold. No matter what options or disco...

Re: Wheels

The question I am torturing over is . . . . having chosen the 21" 911 wheels with their low profile will do I need PASM and it's 'Comfort' mode to mitigate the ride over the speeds bumps. Does anyone know what 'mode' the car is in without PASM? PASM £1,860 Air suspension with self-levelling functio...

ScotMac your amazon link is the right stuff. 👍

I didn’t put a link on mine but this forum website makes certain words into links on its own. It’s how it makes money along with all the other advertising etc.

Re: Fuel for my new Macan 2.0 Petrol

I’d need to drive 20 miles round trip to get 98 Ron. The only stations on my doorstep have 97 Ron. I’ve used that since 2015, unless in a rare instance I found myself in a shell garage then I put in v max. Don’t know why more petrol manufacturers don’t have 98+ Ron on their forecourts. So the situa...
