Hit by another car - insist bodywork repaired by Porsche?
Hi guys, some advice please. I've been clipped by someone whilst the car was parked. Exchanged details. There's quite a big gash on the rear passenger bumper as the other driver literally hit it whilst driving past to park behind I presume. If it goes through insurance, should I insist the Insurance...

CarPlay Retrofit
Hey guys,You will all know better than my SE - any way to retrofit CarPlay to MY17 with PCM+NAV (but no connect)? I heard the software update (Euro apart No. 95B 044 900 07) is out, but can't find it on the Techquipment website...I really do need the traffic updates and added connectivity as PCM sta...

Porsche Assistance
Well, I'm glad you had a good experience with Porsche Assistance. They were helpful in my case as well, but the OPC and Enterprise who lent me the hire car were slightly less than stellar. As for the Merc-bashing - I wouldn't be so sweeping. I had a 2013 CLS prior to my Macan S, and yes, there is a s...

Keeping in touch with OPC
My 2016 Macan SD was my first Porsche, but after driving the car since running it in, it certainly wont be my last.Do the more experienced Porsche owners among you keep in touch with the OPC by periodically dropping in to say hi, or pretending to look interested in another purchase, etc? Or do you n...

Macan Diesel S 1 month review
If I'm honest, Sutton Coldfield OPC have been fine; Sheffield have been the problem - really dismissive.
Haha yes, I think the biggest thing I have learnt is to read forums such as this one before making any decision - some real gems of knowledge exist here!

Macan Diesel S 1 month review
Great review, echoing some of my own SD memories Customer service is dealership dependant and even service advisor dependant (just like sales execs.) Not helpful I know, but hopefully you've had your one issue with the car and all will be well going forward. I'm hoping I fair better in the future - ...

Macan Diesel S 1 month review
Thanks to everyone for the thanks, it's the least I could do given all the help I've had from everyone, and hopefully as I get to know my car more, I can give others some advice!Nuclear Nick - the Blackvue 650S 2CH was the one I went for. Prior I had also tried the Ambarella and another highly rated...

Macan Diesel S 1 month review
Like many others on this forum, I too have come to my first month with the Macan SD.For a bit of background, I'm 30, use it to commute daily (often times off road), and this is my first Porsche, having had a BMW Z3 and a Mercedes CLS previously.I have a Diesel S in Night Blue, 21 turbo, Sport Design...

Whirring Noise when opening front door
Yeh I've just got the basic seats so probably not that.
It doesn't sound like it's coming from the engine, but as long as others hear it too, i can chill.
