Re: 111 inspection service

I did ask Brooklands about the 111 point check FOC and they said that they got nothing from Porsche for doing the warranty so they had to charge something for their time to break even. I think they are great people so was happy to do so. Maybe other dealers are more flexible, or maybe they are part ...

No, they would not. Basically any permanent changes from standard will stop them selling an extended warranty.

Re: Hi, 1st Macan, delighted so far.

Hi, and welcome. As you didn’t buy the car from an OPC there is a 90 day period before you can buy a standalone warranty from Porsche. This will also be subject to the 111 point check. It would be worth checking that the car has four N0 rated tyres as that’s often a failure point if they are outside...

Re: Porsche Macan Centre Console Buttons

It's not really possible to fill the buttons as it's not possible to have all the options at the same time.

On the facelift Macan, if you specify Sport Plus you lose buttons as the switch moves to the steering wheel for example.

Re: Pan roof/Options - Dealer or customer driven?

There's drain holes at the back as well, but you can't get to them without removing the glass. The OPC clean them by coming up from the exit points behind the rear wheel arch liners.

Re: Pan roof/Options - Dealer or customer driven?

I think a large group of buyers would like the pano roof, a large group don't care and a smaller group are dead against them. That certainly doesn't mean that not having a pano roof will be a big issue - it may slightly adjust the pool of people who want to buy the car, but at the same time, you won...

Hi - you probably live close to me then!

Brooklands is an OPC but is service and used only. It is owned by an independent.

Re: Four wheel alignment.

I was going to suggest a couple of specialist places but I live in the south so they would be a bit far for you!
