Re: Best tyres for Macan dieselS
I have Michelin all seasons. They are still available, or were a couple of months ago when I replaced 2 on the same axle after one was damaged at around 40000. I’ll replace the others at 50000 although they would still technically be legal beyond that. OPC sourced tyres from Stapletons.

Re: Transfer Box
I may have to have this conversation soon. I chose not to extend the warranty after 3 years and I have started to notice some drivetrain issues @ 38000 miles. Just planning to get the 40000 service booked in. The 40000 mile service was done a month ago and there was no time to investigate the trans...

Thanks Nuclear Nick, I did go to the lakes recently but managed to stay out of them .Nuclear Nick wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 10:19 pm I can’t see how the two could be related, at least not directly. I guess perhaps a failure mechanism for both could be something like driving through flood water.

Re: Paint lifting from RH bonnet edge.
I have just had a 40000 mile service and asked for the paint problem to be looked at. Response was that it has been painted so not covered! Of course it hasn't been painted under my watch and I had the car from new from the same OPC. I have politely asked the dealer to reconsider before taking it fu...

Re: Paint lifting from RH bonnet edge.
Thanks for the replies. It’s just over 3 years old with no extended warranty. I think the anti corrosion guarantee will cover it. I just need to wait for the re-opening. I think I’ll take more photos of it now in case the paint surface is broken between now an when it can be inspected.

Paint lifting from RH bonnet edge.
So I have been cleaning my macan with the 2 bucket method and noticed this today. Aluminium does not rust but I don’t think I’ve done anything to cause this, and there has been no damage or repairs in this area. Has anyone seen something like this before?
