Re: Water trapped at the bottom of my 2019 Macan S

I have had problems with my sunroof that are documented in other threads on here. In my case I was getting excess condensation and water sloshing around in the battery compartment...... not good. This appears to be a bit of a weak link on some macans as others have reported similar problems and I ha...

Re: Looking to buy a 911

Just to add to the debate, I am in a 991.1 vs 991.2 quandary as I am looking to move on from my manual 997.1 turbo after 7 years of ownership for no reason other than I fancy a change. It is a bit of a heart vs head debate as I am pretty sure the 997 won’t lose too much in terms of depreciation, I j...

Re: How easy is it to sell Macan privately

It can be frustrating trying to sell a highish value car privately although I have managed to do so Before with a bit of patience. I currently have my 997T up for sale. A pretty good example of the marque and it’s amazing how many people seem to think that 6-7k under the asking price is a reasonable...

Re: Pre-facelift GTS still a winner?

Just been through the same dilemma myself. My Mar 2017 GTS has 14,000 miles on the clock and wondered if I should change it. Test drove a new Macan turbo at the weekend. Lovely car but couldn’t help thinking it wasn’t different enough to justify spending..... and losing in depreciation..... the addi...

Re: Current Macan PCP quote

The PCP conundrum is an interesting one. I bought my GTS in Mar 2017 with a 4 year PCP fully intending to pay it off after a couple of years. Went to p/ex the car after 2 years and had a derisory PX offer. Then decided not to buy the car outright. Now in covid times WBAC are offering barely above th...

Re: What Car still prefers Macan S to Audi SQ5

The What Car? recommendation to avoid the sunroof is a very poor one. Most Macans have sunroofs and, in the UK, dealers struggle to sell ones without.”

Seems like a terrific recommendation to me. Based on my experience it’s put me off pano roofs for life!

Re: Leaking Roof????

Hi, I had similar problems to the one you describe. In my case it was solved by the OPC using sealant on the roof. Take a look at the thread below....... others recount their issues in this area too......

In this list of businesses required to shut and those exempt garages are an exemption. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/874732/230320_-_Revised_guidance_note_-_finalVF.pdf see page 3 Good to see. Hopefully the garage where I have an MOT...
