I never found a fix for it other than buying a Cayenne.

Didn't work. Tried turning the setting off and then setting the key memory again but when I got in the car this morning it had reset itself.

New message notification tone wont disable.
So I've had my 2.0 Macan for just over a month now and all is good apart from a really annoying feature. Whenever I get into the car I have to manually disable the signal tone for incoming messages which chimes not only for txt but for e-mail as well which gets really old really quickly. In my previ...

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS
...after a long chat with the DP and Sales Manager they have agreed to take the car back and are issuing a full refund. I was offered a build slot on a 2.0 for delivery in December but I'm either going to opt for a GTS or the new Cayenne neither of which can be delivered any time soon. As an interi...

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS
Just checked out the consumer rights act and it states that if a new car develops a fault that can't be remedied by the dealership then you are well within your rights to reject it within the first 6 months. Very interesting, my OPC happen to have a nice 66 plate GTS on their forecourt................

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS
That is interesting, which SA have you been dealing with ? I haven't had a sensor replaced by them they just keep doing the Hard Regens, so i may suggest that the next time it happens (which is inevitable it will happen again). They have been good with me too, each time giving me a Cayenne 4.2 V8 d...

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS

The first time I cleared it myself but the second two times have required a visit to the dealer. On the second occasion (last week) they fi...

Re: 718S
I had a test drive in the 718 last week back to back with the 997 I was looking at. Highlights are cabin and gear change. Engine sounds OK upto 4K and then starts to sound like my mini did but not in a good way. Really really underwhelming car.
