Re: PDK OIL CHANGE

We had our McCann serviced a few weeks ago at 40k. Major service, brake fluid and PDK oil change for (from memory) £830 - Belfast OPC.

apart the the passenger seat belt buckle knocking against the pillar, however the exhaust drowns that out😊.
If you slide the seat belt retaining clip right up to the top, it will stop the seat belt rattling. Known 718 issue, but easy to fix.

We too have a 718 Cayman GTS in GT Silver with manual box.
That's Red5 and Semerka, we are in Surrey, Dorking area.

I am sure there are more on here, Happy Days in Ireland springs to my mind.
Yes, I'm a member of the 718S club - manual, naturally.

Re: Why you have (probably) already bought your last car

Fine for cities, but if you're any way rural (which quite a lot of the population actually are) a system like this falls on its arse.

Re: Noisy EVs

I wonder what it will be - hopefully not something like those bloody annoying Beep-beep-beeps that commercial vehicles emit when reversing. I once lived in a quiet cul-de-sac. A milkman used to pull up past our house to a neighbour every morning at about 5 to deliver the milk. Then he would reverse ...

I guess that’s why diesels are rarely seen on race tracks, with the notable exception of Audi at Le Mans.
Erm, didn't Plato do rather well in a BTCC Seat diesel?

Re: Back to good...

Who has ordered a mission-e, Taycan!!!! Not a fan of electric cars. I get the zero emissions thing for use in towns, but pushing them as clean, is total bollox. You've opened Pandora's Box there... Quite a few supporters of e-cars on here. Never driven one myself , but those on here that won...

Perhaps the mid to long term plan is to put all the 'prestige' VAG brands under one dealership roof. :?:
Audi has a huge showroom next door and VW a quite large and well-established on in a separate part of town.

Re: Macan GTS first service

The lack of stuff to sell has to be the big issue for Belfast. N Ireland is diesel country so the lack of Macan diesels has to be a killer for them, also no new Cayenne in diesel. People here can't get their heads around petrol SUVs unless they are car enthusiasts. They will sell a decent load of 7...
