Re: Sad day, Macan sold

Care to share what £ you got for your Macan? Was it a p/ex for the Allroad or did you find another buyer? Sure... I got £35,000. PX only offered me £31,000, apparently die diesels aren’t sought after anymore. If only the salesman at the OPC told me that! What’s annoying is inlaid £58,000 for the ca...

What is your new car?
Family got bigger, so I need more space. Got a good deal on an Audi A6 Allroad.

Sad day, Macan sold

It is a sad day indeed. My Macan has been sold. I owned the SD for about 30 months, done about 13,000 miles and have to say, it was 13,000 amazing miles. This is one of the best cars I have ever owned, luxurious, comfortable, fast and sporty. It is everything you want it to be... (except cheap ;) ) ...

Re: Family Parts Bin

Yes there is a VW VR6 that was used in the golf but this was not the engine used in the Touareg. The Touareg engine was the normal V6 as also used in the origional Cayenne. The Touareg and the Cayenne of 2004 used much of the same running gear bar bigger brakes so the engines, which were 3.2 V6s we...

Re: Banging whilst on full lock

My car has always suffered from sideways slip when accelerating forwards out of side roads but ---- recently when reversing or turning in to parking spaces the slip is so great that its like a banging coming through the floor. Does this sound like its soley down to colder tyres and harder rubber or...

Do I have a transfer box issue??

So I am not sure if this is a transferbox issue, seeing as the symptoms does not match what I've read so far on the forums and I've only got 6000 miles on. When I pull out of a junction or do any sharp turn at low speed with the it is almost like a difflock of sort is on, I can feel the car attempti...

Re: End of the Macan diesel

Maybe Porsche don't care about CO2...and why should they, given it's a non toxic, harmless trace gas that helps vegetation and greenery survive. On the other hand maybe they and everyone should worry because apparently,it will be the end of our planet otherwise😂 (or perhaps the end of big profit fo...

But were you able to carry on driving for 20 mins / 2000 rpm etc etc......?.... If so, then you should have no issues....
Haven’t had the opportunity yet, won’t use the car until the weekend where I’ll give it a good spanking on the motorway
