Re: Macan Update when?

I had a call from my local OPC to say they have been reliably informed deliveries will begin Sept 2018. Do I take delivery of a current version in April 2018 or wait until Sept?

Re: Lifeshine Autoglym

I used to spend a fortune on Autoglym products, buying every possible bottle to keep my cars looking pristine.... then I discovered GTechniq and have not looked back. I applied the coatings myself over 2 days and yes, whilst expensive to purchase at the front end, I've easily saved the money I used ...

Sorry, I should have checked. I was just wondering if anyone had swapped to a different brand as to whether they had experienced any effects?

Re: Tyres

I've never really been a fan of Pirelli in the past and where I can, have fitted Michelin as they seem to last longer by some considerable margin. Though I must admit, the PZero's impressed me yesterday with the amount of grip, even with some Silverstone drizzle thrown in for good measure. What are ...

Had my first PEC session at Silverstone yesterday, what a blast! Instructor was great and pretty much let me use it as a race track... shame there were so many 911's getting in the way though  An SUV simply should not be able to handle like that..! Anyhow, I couldn't help but notice they were r...

Re: New BMW X3 M40i v Macan GTS and Turbo. Thoughts?

I would say one, sorry two, of the biggest differences are the X3/X4's crap brakes and the steering. The GTS I test drove had brake 'feel' I've never experienced before on an SUV and is one of the reasons I am moving from BMW. \as for the lack of steering feel from the X3..... Unless the G01 has imp...

Re: Do I claim on insurance?

I have used AutoRestore in the past, very good job indeed. Lifetime warranty on the repair too.

Lease Return

I returned my previous car via BCA and the 'inspector' was an arse. He moaned that an alloy wheel repair, which had been carried out by a BMW dealer, wasn't good enough (alloy damaged by the wife, I hasten to add ). He found every little nick, chip on the 3 year old, noted the lot. I was gutted, as ...

Macan Hybrid - did I just see a spy shot?

I really hope it doesn't lose the 3-d tail lights, I think it's one of the nicest design features on the car.
