Re: G-Techniq Platinum for Porsche Dealer

Incidentally, if they are genuine Gtechniq approved detailers, they will give you a guarantee certificate which has a unique number. So if you didn't get one, they probably did nothing!

Re: G-Techniq Platinum for Porsche Dealer

I've just taken delivery of a 2020 GTS and have had Gtecnniq CSBlack applied to the bodywork. This includes wheel treament, side glass and sun roof plus tailpipes. This cost me £970 via detailer, which was considerably cheaper than Platinum (which is an inferior treatment) via the dealer. CS Black i...

Re: Tips for Macan GTS Buyers and Detailers

Too early to say - done less than 100 miles so far! What I can say is that if you rev the engine it flies - quite superb. So to get the best from it, I think one may have to use the gearbox well.

Re: Tips for Macan GTS Buyers and Detailers

I said earlier that it doesn't feel as sporty - that's the handling. The engine is a joy though, and I can feel the difference in power and responsiveness already

Re: Tips for Macan GTS Buyers and Detailers

I did have a spare in the old car, but I could hardly trade it it in without it! Apart from that, the floor of the boot is configured differently without it. I may be able to put one in but it will need securing in some way.

Tips for Macan GTS Buyers and Detailers

I've just taken delivery of a new 2020 Macan GTS (see code). I traded in my 2017 Macan GTS and thought my experience with these two might help others. Firstly, like many, I had a transfer box failure on the old one at around 37k miles, replaced under warranty. I hope that this doesn't repeat itself ...

Re: Sapphire GTS Just arrived

I've just taken delivery of a new 2020 GTS and the RFL was £1280. According to DVLA this would be £1305 wef April 2020. In the second to fifth year you pay an additional £320 ontop of the usual RFL, so this will be £465 or possibly £475 from next renewal. The Chancelleor can always change these of c...

Re: Gtechniq on Carrera White GTS

Final cost was c. £72k.I've just traded the car in, so have three years' experience of Gtechniq coatings. My advice is not to have the windscreen and rear window treated because after a while the wipers wear away the coating leave a mark across the screen. I'm about to take delivery of an almost ide...
