Re: Porsche Pylon

A pylon is sent to you following the purchase of any brand new Porsche. The Masterclass is given [usually] by your dealer's sales executive that you dealt with, It is for you to clarify any operational issues, explanation of car's functions etc that you may have after the initial couple of weeks. - ...

Re: GTS suspension

PASM has three levels of setting. I used to drive my SD with one light on. With the GTS to get similar ride comfort, on typical UK roads, i use the no the no light on setting. SD on 19" wheels and GTS on 20". The GTS has a lower ride height and feels firmer on the road.

Re: New GTS Inbound!

Very Darth Vader look - black body and wheels. Definitely colour GTS logo on Sideblades to lift it a bit. The black rear logos on the hatch lid will be pretty well invisible too. 8-) Keeping black (or any dark colour) clean will depend on where you live. I live in a rural area with country lanes to ...

Re: Day at Silverstone PEC in GTS

These are pretty short sections, but designed to test Porsches at 'safe' speeds. One guy in our customer group said on a previous EXPERIENCE day that he'd got up to 100+ mph on the parallel acceleration straight. The instructor stated that this would not be at all possible. The full-bore acceleratio...

Re: GTS Order - Deposit Paid today!

It depends too on your driving style. If you are a press on driver using A-roads then it is an advantage with more rapid acceleration. You can press the 20 second burst button or turn it to one of the pre-sets or Individual. You are speccing a GTS [not a 2.0] and it is seen as desirable on them. Hav...

"The reason I've put the crest on armrest was purely to have a leather armrest. I thought the alcantara would wear easily with an elbow digging into it?" I had Alcantara on my previous SD's seats and absolutely no wear marks after 3 yrs / 18,000m even with three young children regularly occupying th...

Re: Day at Silverstone PEC in GTS

I received my e-mail invitation yesterday (although I haven't taken delivery of my GTS yet - the OPC called me on Tuesday to confirm that the car was built but still in Leipzig awaiting shipment). My invitation to the PEC stated that I could be accompanied by a spectating guest and my wife is keen....
