Re: The Random Chit-chat Thread

Darn, I forgot that I'm not part of the inner clique of the forums and shouldn't have posted this.

I apologise.

Re: Your Macan is Crap

And the discussion goes full circle again.... (if you bought a SD, you're either uninformed or wrong). I bought an SD. I wanted a diesel. I'm happy with a diesel, so that's why I bought one. I didn't need to drive a petrol derivative because I don't need to know what the difference is - I wanted the...

Re: Green Wrap

Personally, I love that shade of green, looks nice. If I had a few spare pennies, I'd do the same (my other half is colour-orientated).

But I'd be tempted to spend the extra and go for the door shut spaces too.

I'm guessing that you had to notify the DVLA about the change in colour?

Re: Your Macan is Crap

Re: New Member - about to press the button

I don't believe there's a significant issue with DPF on the Macans. Those few people who have had issues are simply pretty vocal about it (the internet is what it is in that respect). I've seen reports that the software "fix" for the emissions initially hits MPG, but it then goes back to n...

In the same vein, I'm sure that most of us could get away with just driving a Passat.

Re: It may be right but does it sound pretentious?

My local OPC pronounces 'Porsche' without the 'e' and 'Macan' with only the two 'a's. Personally, I think it's ok to go with the local version of the pronunciation, saying it the German way does sound pretty pretentious. I mean, we don't say we're spending the weekend in 'Paree', do we? (Well, unles...

Re: iPhone X

My old Windows phone has iris recognition that worked pretty well (engineered by good old Nokia), but it did have a secondary unlocking mode (PIN) that worked pretty well. Like make people, I'm wary of having the face fully unlocking the phone as sometimes I just want to look for notifications. Then...
