Re: New owner: Turbo with Performance Pack (Night Blue!)

I've always gone col.-coded wheel badges up to now but I think it'd simply "clash" a bit due to the yellow wheel calipers - just a personal preference ;) Also, with the Black Macan/Turbo 'boot' badging, and the matt-black window trims/tinted-windows, the monochrome wheel-badges complete th...

Re: New owner: Turbo with Performance Pack (Night Blue!)

I'd definitely agree with the last two comments - it does handle very well for a SUV, but it's no sports car (I'm coming from 991.1 C2S and Cayman GTS) ... It's more like a sports-saloon (think BMW M3/5). However, the Turbo PP would simply leave either Porsche 'for dead' in a straight line. Also, at...

Re: New owner: Turbo with Performance Pack (Night Blue!)

Hi Tim92gts,

You're correct - after that particular post I added about 150mls of Prestone Anti-Freeze (pre-mixed), I've not had that issue again (in over two weeks since).

All the best, Simon.

Re: New owner: Turbo with Performance Pack (Night Blue!)

Hi Sidscott, On the GTS I would consider leaving it "as is" , unless you go for the full GTS interior/leather pack (*). I would not put this interior in a GTS (despite it looking great!) as A. -I- don't think it'd be sporty enough, and B. ('cus of point A.) it may hit your pocket come sell...

Re: New owner: Turbo with Performance Pack (Night Blue!)

Hi All, Apologies it's taken a while to upload an interior shot, I'm aware I did get asked for one a couple of weeks ago ... The seat belt colour (essentially 'brown') is hard to make out, it's very close to the standard dark colour (carbon/black) - I (personal pref) wouldn't bother with this option...

Re: New owner: Turbo with Performance Pack (Night Blue!)

I hear 'ya!

My figures run from 21.5 to 27.5 - but she's still tight so there maybe (hopefully!) some improvement ahead.

My average is about 24.5 so far on "mixed" runs.

FWIW I'm based in Surrey and I always wave to fellow Porsche drivers in case you spot me :)

Re: New owner: Turbo with Performance Pack (Night Blue!)

Hi Tim (and Co.), It's around 30-40% quieter than the regular glass I'd estimate - I'm hard pushed to hear much (normal traffic noise) at all after "startup", unless a windows/roof is open. My hope is it'll pay dividends in the summer as it's also heat-reflecting: I like to run with the A/...

Re: New owner: Turbo with Performance Pack (Night Blue!)

Thanks for the kind words all, 'appreciated! :) I went a bit crackers on the spec, but I wanted her to be as sporty as possible; whilst as safe and luxurious for the other-half to enjoy (and me!). As promised, please find pics. BTW, I've come to the Macan from a string of Porsche sports cars (inc. 3...

New owner: Turbo with Performance Pack (Night Blue!)

Hi All, This is my first post but I'll admit to "lurking" here for the past 6 months - prior to my car being ordered (5 months wait). I picked up my Night Blue car two weeks ago yesterday ( code is http://www.porsche-code.com/PJL8ITB8 ), and covered about 670 miles so far. She replaced a f...
