Re: Facelift

My 5k mile SD and our 50k mile Q5 2.0tdi are both showing around the 34mpg mark. I guess it's all down to similar weight and aerodynamics?

Re: Are EVs the Devil incarnate?

I can't say I understand the entertainment factor of repeatedly trash posting (in this instance) ICE Macans, on a Macan specific forum?

Bit like turning up to a Hells Angels party, wearing an Outlaws patch.

But hey-Ho, each to their own and all that, eh?

Re: Porsche tell OPC they cannot sell Diesels

What’s going on at PORSCHE ?, they close down the factories, stop producing vehicles and then tell OPCs not to sell any new or used DIESELS they have in stock, when customers spend £55/65k on a new Porsche it’s not what they expected and is concerning that there seems to be a lack of information comi...

Re: Windscreen Demisting

If external conditions are warm and humid, it means that the external air is fairly well saturated and in its current condition, can't absorb much more in the way of water. This is the reverse of the winter situation, where the air may be saturated, but by simple heating, it's moisture carrying capa...

Re: Transmission oil leak

Tewkesbury and Solihull are equidistant from me, but I've used Solihull since 2006, never tried Tewkesbury. Are they any good, courtesy cars provided etc?

Re: Tesla Model 3 sales

Not sure I agree re: the iPace vs Model X interior comparison? The iPace at the London Motor Show last week was a very plasticky affair, whereas the Model X in Solihull had a higher quality feel to it, albeit the layout (big iPad etc) is obviously subjective. Perhaps the iPace (orange) was a pre-pro...

Re: Transfer Box Replacement

It 'seems' that C.30k is the mileage for problems to occur. My mileage at 3 years will only be 24k, so the EW looks like a good call? Mine went at about 12K when just over two years old. Perhaps it’s more related to time rather than mileage. A seal drying out perhaps? Good point, RMS had to be repl...

Re: Some E xciting developments coming 18/19

Had a sit in the iPace at the London Motor Show yesterday. Have to say I was disappointed with the quality of the interior plastics.
