Re: Hot Macan?

I specced my last car, a Cayman S - 981 meticulously, with around £17ks worth of options.

And forgot the heated seats, which cost all of about £75!

Not a mistake, I intend to make again.

Re: Stop/Start & Hold Function

Perhaps it's a function of my age, but I detest start/stop systems and disable them as the first button press after switching on the engine. In fact, if I forget and inadvertently get an engine kill, my blood pressure rises? I put it down to thinking that it has to be prematurely wearing parts of th...

Re: Rear Light Bar

I don't mind it in the daylight shots, my input was related to the nighttime situation - there's a lot of light going on, which, as you approach looks very odd, space age, Tron, sci-fi, whatever. That's what I'm not keen on (at the moment).

Rear Light Bar

Followed a new Macan S last night between Tenbury and Droitwich (hello if you're on here), black I think? Have to admit I didn't know that the bar across the boot actually lit up, but it was a bit like following the Millennium Falcon - initial thought was 'I don't like that', almost like the brake l...

It was a showroom car, not specced by myself, but I take your point.

Re: Considering Selling......... Macan S Diesel

Not sure this is a good time to be offloading an SD as the 2nd hand values seem to have tanked? I monitor the prices on Pistonheads and allowing for the OPC £7k markup, it looks like my 15 month, 9.5k miler with £17k options (£65k) would be lucky to pull in £45k as a trade-in currently? I'm pretty m...

Re: MACAN DPF PROBLEMS

At 9.5k miles, I accidentally filled up with BP 'upgraded' diesel (Ultimate?) the other day and I'm convinced that my car has a better low speed pick up/throttle response, but I'm not sure how much that is down to the placebo effect of me knowing I'd just shelled out an extra 10p/litre?
