Re: Run around
My mate has a sub £2k Smart car. That's a laugh to drive and you can park it 'anywhere'!

Re: Porsche 911 Carrera T
There's a Lizard Green 991.2 GT3 RS at Solihull for £210k, if anyone wants a 'stand out' 911?

Re: AdBlue replacement charge
10 ltr of Greenchem AdBlue costs about £12 from EuroCarParts.
Get an old 2ltr pop bottle, wash it out, let it dry, decant the AdBlue into it and put 3 bottles worth into your car with a funnel. Job done.
I think I got £120 off my last service, once I told them not to bother with the AdBlue top up?

Re: Some people appreciate a Porsche
A bit of banter on here is nothing! I had an old guy spit into my chips once, when I'd accidentally used a disabled spot outside a row of shops. There were a good number of other free ones and it was a genuine error on my part. Different strokes and all that. What car did you have at the time? A ro...

Re: Black Tailpipes - Macan - Good/bad?
I always (usually) spray silicone on mine after cleaning and after 5 years, I don't have the 'pitting' that some complain of. There are a few scratches, but nothing that bothers me tbh?

Re: Driver’s mirror retraction issue
It happened to my drivers mirror, started to hit the glass/trim when folded. No obvious signs of impact/damage to outer casing or the glass. OPC Solihull had to order a complete new internals for the unit, as the lock stop mechanism had failed. All done under warranty in my case.

Re: Anything to choose between the Porsche & Thule roof bars?
I can confirm the Porsche branded roof bars work adequately. Anyone managed a longer load than this?

Re: ECUs failing
Sounds like the jump start operator connected the negative on the Macan to the power source, before putting the positive lead on?
