Just got a note through from Porsche UK.
Basically 3 month extension on the warranty (mine ran out 2 weeks after lockdown).

Re: New 718 GT4 and 718 Spyder Announced
Was in getting an air con top up today and spoke to my SE at OPC Glasgow. He said they have no allocation info yet, and it’s likely to be a time-bound limit rather than a specific number. He has my spec, so we’ll see what he can do... The 0-60 worries me, but...if it’s all the more accessible then i...

Re: Many, Many warning lights
It’s back! If anyone has any doubts on whether to stick with their Porsche or not...spend two weeks in a 520d Msport. You’ll never question a Porsche again! So glad to be back in the 911. Cause of the fault was an oil seal. Buggered two turbos and i think 3 coil packs (waiting on the final report). ...

Re: Many, Many warning lights
A very worrying development for us 911 owners on here. Really odd to hear of two turbos giving up in such a new car. There has to be more to it but I'm not sure they'll be likely to say what. Possible an oil supply or post drive cooling issue I think you’re right, there will be an underlying issue ...

Re: Many, Many warning lights
And only just over 2 years old! Blimey! As you say, just as well it’s still within the (3 year?) warranty period. At least you have ‘the ultimate driving machine’ in the meantime. ;) 😂 the ultimate tractor...at least it’s efficient...haha It’s in its 3 year warranty, but bought approved used so has...

Re: Many, Many warning lights
Update from Porsche today...
Looks like both turbos need replaced and there’s an oul leak somewhere (they did explain, but I cant remember exactly).
Effectively they’re going to have the car for c. 2 weeks, and I’m stuck in a 520d.
Could be worse, could be out of warranty! Ha

Re: Michelin tyres
Michelin’s are the best - always use on my Audi, Pilot Sport 3 and the Pilot Sport 4. Will be buying Michelin when Pirelli P Zero have their day on our GTS +1 Michelin are currently top of the table for almost all segments. For any performance biased car i will not have anything other than Michelin...
