Great. Seems the performance issues only affected some.

Belated AJ07 Re-programming DME control unit

Hi, I received a letter for “AJ07 Re-programming DME control unit” update for my Macan S Diesel I was baffling a few years ago when everyone was talking about and having this update and the consequent performance issues for their Macan but I never got informed about it. From this forum, I understand...

Re: Transfer box - Survey of members

Macan SD, bought new (Oct 2015). Done 37000 miles as of to-date. Not noticed any symptoms of transfer box issues yet. My Indie told me they didn't feel the symptoms when they test drove the car after service a couple of weeks ago.

Re: PDK Oil and Filter Change - Is this PDK Clutch Oil Change ?

Thanks guys. I'll check out with an OPC for the price and what work would be covered. The service of my nearest OPC is not good (they asked me what the quotation was for 40K miles service I had from an independent porsche specialist last Oct and said they would at least match it). I happily emailed ...

PDK Oil and Filter Change - Is this PDK Clutch Oil Change ?

I have a Macan S Diesel (2015) since new. The service manual says 40,000 miles or 6 years, you need to do a PDK Oil and Filter change. I have a quote of £270+VAT from a Independent Porsche Specialist. Then I also saw another Porsche Specialist listing out PDK Service for £185+VAT and PDK Clutch Oil ...

Thank you everyone chipping in your comments and experience. It looks like I am over-worrying a bit. I'll keep an eye on them and see how they go.

Cheers.

Re: Questions on Tyre Wear

Sorry for not making myself clear. My question is that "is the innermost tread wearing off quicker than the other treads (1.5mm vs 0.5mm) normal ?

I thought the 4 treads would wear off evenly within 0.5mm of each other (which was the case all along since new). Appreciate any comments on this.

Questions on Tyre Wear

In 4000 miles, the innermost tread of my two front tyres have worn 1.5mm (front right) and 1mm (front left) where as the other treads on the same tyres only worn off 0.5mm. Just wonder if this wear pattern is normal ? Details of tread depths : as of 11 Sep 2018 checked during MOT Mileage on the cloc...
