Re: Halfords staff.

It’s a lottery. Virtually all businesses, including Porsche, have variations of customer service between their different sites. Some locations take customer service more seriously than others. And some sites will give higher priority to ‘profit maximisation’ than others. Not all staff and/or manage...

Do I Really Need New Brake Discs With Only 0.5mm Wear ?

I've now had my Macan S for three years since new, having just done 37,000 miles. The brake pads needed replacing, and the OPC said the car also needed new rear discs. When I went to a local MoT garage, they ordered the new pads and discs in from Porsche UK, and I had the work done last Friday. I as...

Re: Porsche Data Package

I've also been getting these messages over the last couple of days - how can I stop them appearing ?.

All I need is to continue with my Google Maps Sat-Nav. At the good old age of 73, I'm not interested in anything else: just annoyed that I can't play my CDs in the car !

Re: Electric??

So instead he wrapped it up in Dynamite, and blew it up, rather than have the phenominal expense. I think it was a battery replacement that was need...

https://www.teslarati.com/porsche-whistleblower-taycan-battery-charger-fires-coverup/ Do read this article: it seems that 60% of Porsche Taycans sold, have had issues with battery management, including failed batteries, vehicle fires etc. according to a whistleblower in Porsche's HQ in Zuffenhausen....

Re: Build allocations only

Ordered Macan S mid August - told build date April/May 22 from Tonbridge OPC 🧐 That's where I ordered and bought my gen 2 Macan S and collected in May 2019. All's well with the car, except both front door handles have cracked (March 2021 and July 2021) and the OPC say they are waiting to hear from ...

Re: Comfort access

Sorry folks but this was just posted on my neighbourhood chat. Seems a Friday bag might not even work now??? STOLEN MERCEDES CONVERTIBLE. My next door neighbours car was stolen in the early hours of Tuesday 16th Nov. It took them exactly 4 mins between 03:02 & 03:06hrs. The act was captured on ...
