Re: System Failure UPDATE

This morning I tried to open the car but the doors would not open. The fuel filler cap would open ?!?! but the doors would not. I opened the car with the manual key and the alarm sounded. I closed the car, waited and then opened the door again. No alarm this time and the engine started. The warning ...

Re: System Failure

I drove the car for 250 miles yesterday so I would have thought that the battery had a reasonable level of charge.

I had also driven 50 miles a couple of hours earlier.

Thanks for the feedback - I will let you know what the dealer says tomorrow.

System Failure

I have a 14 month old Macan Turbo that has done 9000 miles. Today I went to start the car and after an initial burst of life from the engine it died. I went to try and start it but the same happened. I got out, closed the car, waited a moment and then tried again. This time the engine fired but a mu...

Each to their own. I am looking forward to pictures of the finished car and the chance to see one “in the flesh”.

Re: Made me laugh

Here's a few more ... I was reading this book today, 'The History Of Glue', and I couldn't put it down. I fancied a game of darts with my mate. He said, "Nearest the bull goes first" He went "Baah" and I went "Moo" He said "You're closest" I phoned the local ramblers club today and this bloke just w...

Re: New S Order

Hi and welcome. There are plenty of posts here about air suspension but the starting point is usually the wheels that you have chosen. The general gist appears to be 19 inch wheels and you are okay without air, 20 inch and it’s debatable, whilst 21 inch is almost a necessity. My turbo has 21 inch wh...

Car SOS 7 Day Challenge

I’ve watched the Car SOS programmes and enjoyed most of the episodes, however I have to say that I was very disappointed with the first episode of the 7 Day Challenge. My interest is in the car being rebuilt but the Land Rover being restored hardly featured at all in this programme. There was lots o...
