The handbrake does automatically engage when you leave the car. From the manual:

Automatic engagement of the parking brake

The vehicle is stationary.
Operating mode D, R or M selected.
Driver’s door is opened.
Driver’s seat belt is unfastened.
The electric parking brake engages automatically

So I have found a solution for the radio favourites issue. The goal is one touch selection of a radio station from favourites list. Thanks - I will look at the home tile but the radio home tile that i have lets you change stations but goes to the next in the list not the next favourite.

If you touch the tile it then takes you to the media screen, then you press favourites then the station

Easy to store favourites but short cut to select them should be on the home screen. Instead have to go into media menu and then favourites. But my point was that on the small screen on the dash it shows all available stations not favourites so that facility is rendered useless.
