Re: OPC tyres prices
I need to replace the two rear tyres and I also need to send my car into Reading OPC for a transfer box inspection, so thought I would get them to quote for the tyres and hopefully get both done at the same time. Did a quick look around online and checked with a couple of local independents, Micheli...

Re: Dashboard Compass
I asked this question to my OPC (Reading) last June when I collected my 6 month old SD, as I also preferred the look of a gauge in the middle of the dash, I thought it would be a straight forward upgrade, albeit expensive for what it is. The answer I had was it could not be done, so I would be inter...

Re: Cleaning & Protecting Side-blades
I’ve just used Autoglym Bumper & Trim Gel on mine and it has given the side blades and all other trim a really nice finish. Will have to see how long the gel lasts, but first impressions are very good.

Re: A good wash & polish
How are you guys washing a Macan in an hour or even half an hour??? I spend over an hour washing, then about an hour and a half drying off, quick detailer, dress tyres, hoover inside etc. Polish and wax is a mega job! Wash, polish, wax & glass all took about 4hrs or so, wheels were done the day...

Re: A good wash & polish
Very nice Taz. Did you apply the coating or was this done professionally and which one was used?
Would you recommend having it coated and are there any negatives?

Thanks for the comments. Tom 2000 - Yes I did polish the rails and they stayed black, well at least they were when I looked last.... Semerka - Yes need to do the tyres, thought that when I stood back and looked but don’t have any in the garage... :( Also need to get some 303 spray, recommend...

A good wash & polish
Knowing I was going to be in for a quiet Tuesday working from home and the weather was looking good, at the weekend I started looking for a new polish & wax with the intention of giving the car a good wash. Ended up ordering Bilt Hamber - Cleanser Polish and Double Speed Wax. Now, I am not an ex...

Re: How to get some heat into the car?
My SD is very good at warming up. You can feel the seats warming after about 1 minute, even when it’s sub-zero. Something is wrong there. +1. I have to drop the heated seat setting from 3 to 2 after a couple of mins as my seats get hot very quickly. Likewise, my SD heats up both the heater & se...
