Re: All weather tyres

Does not the confusion on this topic arise as Michelin Latitude Tour HP are what I would call old-style all-season tyres that do not satisfy the Alpine symbol (snowflake symbol) (required in some EU countries in winter) as many more modern all-season tyres eg Michelin Cross Climate or Goodyear Vecto...

Re: EV charging - UK map

Zap Map gives a better indication of chargers etc. https://www.zap-map.com/live/ What do the different colours represent - I can't see a key ? key appears if you press key symbol near the top right of screen Colours reflect charger speed. Purple 43K plus, blue fast 7 to 22K, yellow slow 3 to 5 KW. ...

Re: Porsche Connect?

I've had my new 2019 Macan S since May, when I discovered that I wouldn't be able to play my music at all, so I just listen in to LBC on the car's radio. My music is on CD's (plus LPs at home). I understand that there is a port in the car for SD cards, but I have no idea how I could record my CDs o...

Re: Headlight glare annoying others

I've only had my 2019 Macan S for 5 months, and had a couple of on-coming drivers flash me; so i flashed them back in the hope they would realise I wasn't on full beam. Maybe the dipped beam could be adjusted a little lower. What Guy says above is in the manual for pre 19 Macans ( i looked at 14 - ...

Re: New Macan Out in 2021

I’ve got multiple hybrids on my company fleet, and all of them seem to loose roughly half their battery capacity over the first 2 years. They all get 2 full charges 5 days a week, as they all commute far enough to empty the batteries. So something around 500-600 charge cycles. They’re from bmw,Merc...

Re: ORDER ISSUE ADVICE PLEASE

Have you ever bought a house? At what point, in the process, is a deposit refundable?! If the standard Porsche OPC deposit form was used, the form I signed when I paid the initial £3000, made clear the deposit paid was refundable until a later stage in the process i.e lockdown. I paid a further dep...

Re: Which RON fuel for my 2 litre petrol is best?

Shell V power my first choice. When once in MId wales and no Shell V power garage within range, I did fill-up with Tesco Momentum 99 octane. My preference would be always to go for fuel at least 98 and also E5 or E10 by the new fuel standards re ethanol limits aslo now shown on pumps and as specifie...
