Re: Should I upgrade my GTS

Every time you "trade" a Macan the market turn is of the order of £10K plus. Have you investigated the possibilty of retro fitting 14-way seat to your current car? At the mileage you are doing it will be a fine vehicle for several years. The Gen 2 cars offer minor improvements in performance and han...

He lost me at the stage when he talks about wheels without making any comment or recognising the impact on ride quality

Re: Wanted - Facelifted 2.0T Macan

Ex demo? No, private owner. The story is that when Porsche released the facelifted Macan they offered 3 pre-configured specs at the launch event. I'm not sure of the exact names they used, but it was something like Sport, Premium and something else. This is the Premium model. It was very coincident...

Re: Macan S Spec - First Porsche!

My main comment would be no PASM and 21 wheels. Have you driven a car with that combination because you are at at extreme point of the options availabe for suspension? I admit ride can be a personal taste and that may depend on the vehicles previously owned

Re: What should I spec on my Macan? FAQ

With SC on Gen 2 the big gain is the steering wheel control for modes. Whether that is worth £500 depends on how you drive the car and whether you are a regular user of modes. I would order SC again despite not using launch control or timing. I regularly use the switch to move to Sports mode or Indi...

Re: Facelift Macan

I see no oneone picked up the headlights changes comment yet. If Matrix lights option it for me would be a difficult choice between gaining that for loss of "proper buttons"

Re: Lane Keep Assist not working

Look at the vehicle settings for assiastance via the MFD. there are two, the strongest of which is early. I had initially set my car on the weaker setting and when I recently moved it too early I found it was alot better and surprisingly prefeerred it.

Re: Moving to Porsche

I made the BMW to Porsche move for very similar reasons buying a Macan 18 months ago and have not regretted the change at all. Just as enjoyable to drive probably more enjoyable due to the wonderful PDK box, better built and way more comfortable.
