Re: New Owner Macan S - Help with Vin Decode

Porsche won't divulge this info until I have the V5 in my name and officially own the car (collecting this Friday). I know this is a basic question but can someone confirm the interior colour of my car? Saddle brown, Expresso or something else?

Re: New Owner Macan S - Help with Vin Decode

Thanks, I have emailed Porsche GB customer services to see if they can help. I’m very excited to pick up the car next week. It replaces a LR Evoque which was stolen back in january this year. Hopefully this Macan will be a little harder to steal? I will be adding a Disklok steering wheel as soon as ...

New Owner Macan S - Help with Vin Decode

Just put a deposit down on a Macan S in Agate grey with saddle brown interior. Very pleased with the condition of the car considering the age and mileage, its had some very conscientious owners. I generally know what the car comes with but I'm having trouble using the VIN to compile the exact spec o...

Re: New Member and advice please

As a matter of interest, how much are the transfer boxes to replace? assuming it's not covered under the warranty. Can an good independent garage tackle this work?

Also, same goes for the DPF, is this a big job to clean/replace?

Re: New Member and advice please

My driving type is not heavy use, city mainly and not much motorway. A petrol version would be the ideal choice as I don't do many annual miles, say 3.5k to 4.5k annually. I also live in central London so would prefer a petrol due to the forthcoming ULEZ charging. I've just sold my Merc CLS because...

Wanted - 2014/15 Macan

Looking for an Agate grey Macan. Looks like my budget would fit a 2014 or early 2015 model. Interested to see what price and condition I can afford and whats out there. Send me a PM if you think you might have something. Thanks,

Re: New Member and advice please

So it transpires, this dealer doesn't have a very reputation and a friend who lives next to this place has encountered many irate customers trying to get their money back due to being sold duff cars. Looks like I'll need to keep searching.

Thanks for the advice from all of you.

Re: New Member and advice please

Thanks, the one I'm looking at does have enough toys (reverse cam, satnav). I've been reading the forum and getting a feel of the important issues so hopefully I can identify some of these issues when seeing the car. Having the extended warranty is certainly giving me that extra comfort if something...
