Re: Loan car
Like the OP, I was excited to see what my first loan car would be, expecting another Porsche. Aside from one eco-friendly Golf I must say I've only ever had Porsches. I've been lucky enough to have lots of problems with my Macan and therefore more loan cars than normal. All from OPC Swindon - 2x Box...

Re: 6 years in and Service price shock
As I understand it, the thing that makes the big difference is the PDK oil change. I believe (don't quote me) this is due at 4yrs/40000 miles, BUT if your car is low mileage - as mine is - they will postpone this to the 6yr service. @Madelvic it sounds like yours may have been carried out at 4yrs as...

Re: Detailer Recommendation
Pinnacle Detailing (Witney) are good and have the setup you're looking for. I paid them a visit, but didn't go with them in the end as they weren't Gtechniq accredited and couldn't offer the CS Black treatment I wanted at the time. However, I see they are now accredited. Alternatively Auto Wax Works...

Re: Courtesy car charge
I've had the same as you, also from Dick Lovett. It relates to the insurance on the loan car and as a result the Excess halves to £500. It would cost more than £15 to hire a Porsche for the day, and it was less than 1% of the cost of the service my car went in for, so not complaining. Just make sure...

Re: Air Suspension - is this a fault?
The suspension does sometimes inflate/deflate when you exit the car, this is normal and to the customer does appear somewhat random. I'm sure the Porsche engineers have been very meticulous in determining why and when this is triggered, and who am I to judge. Providing the level is even across the c...

Re: Keep your battery healthy too
I've had a slightly different experience to previous posters which I thought worth sharing. I have a 2017 turbo which I've only clocked up 300 miles in since Xmas! Suffice to say the battery became quite poorly resulting in the dashboard message "Low battery. Start engine and run for extended p...

Re: Sagging of air suspension; caused by leak?
I know what you mean about timing, it's a headache you really don't need at this time of year. Saying that, you should be fine driving it around over Christmas providing it re-inflates. I needed to give it a nudge a couple of times, but was never really an issue. If they absolutely don't want you to...

Re: Sagging of air suspension; caused by leak?
Paulyonder, I had exactly your issue a few months back. Front passenger side leak - after 3-4 days the bodywork was virtually sitting on the tyre. Like you my car often sits for 7-10 days in between uses, so was very noticeable. See my thread (if I've inserted the link correctly): [url]https://www.m...

Re: Air Suspension - is this a fault?
Thanks everyone for your comments. It's only ever parked for long durations on my own drive Nick which is flat, so can't comment on the behaviour on a slope. There are a couple of things I'd like to book it in for, so will suggest leaving it with them on a Friday so that it's in that state Monday mo...

Air Suspension - is this a fault?
Hi Everyone, A question if I may for all you Macaneers with Air Suspension. I have a 2017 model and of late I've noticed the car dropping at the front end after leaving it parked up for a couple of days....in particular the front left. By dropping I mean completely emptying itself of air - the bodyw...
