Re: Re Setting tyre pressures
Not sure how to respond individually to all but the last post, so thoughts on the two questions raised above: Insurance: Very good question @Nuclear Nick. At the outset I am not a lawyer and have not been in the position of having to argue this particular issue in court. IMO an insurance co would ne...

Re: Re Setting tyre pressures
Guys as an ex tyre designer and test driver I thought I would put together a bit of general info on tyre pressures to hopefully help in these discussions. Tyres have both a Load Index that translates to the maximum load that the tyre can carry at specified inflation pressures and a Speed Symbol that...

Re: Bose vs Burmester
There is absolutely no comparison - Bose is just the usual boom box rubbish. Burmester is massively better if you are into quality sound, but way over priced It is far cheaper and IMO a better result with quality aftermarket products and using high res audio files.

Re: PCM HDD memory in new 2019 Macan
When I purchased my MY16 Macan I was surprised to learn that despite the specifications claimed by Porsche in its manual - that the PCM would play and order WAV files, that it would not order into the file structure that Porsche claim (artist/album/track). This rendered the fact that it would play f...

The transmission was reset as part of the process. I am familiar with the reset process, having done it before. This time is very much different as I ...

Diesel Service Campaign WARNING.
Hi guys. I have just had the above service campaign undertaken and had the following outcome: Transmission continually seeking to change to a higher gear - eg: in normal or Sport mode will go to 7th gear at 50km/hr or less. Means when you want a lower gear for acceleration then it needs to go down 3...
