Re: Changing rear drivers side bumper light.

I had a wasp and other creatures in my rear lamps from new, both lamps were replaced under warranty and they had to take the whole rear bumper off.

Re: Another new member

An issue I see with a GTS doing such low mileage, if that means short journeys the engine will hardly get warm. I went for the 2.0 due to this and even that engine needs frequent oil changes due to the short journeys. Just something to consider. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Re: Delivery stop

Going back to the original post.
The delivery stop is due to the heating of the cat which can alter emissions, there are 750 cars effected. At this time there is no definite timescale and Porsche are working on a software fix. That is the latest message I have.

Re: Delivery stop

Delivery stop

I was supposed to pick up my new Macan Gen 3 2.0 today but Porsche have issued a delivery stop supposedly due to a software upgrade needed to stop an overheating issue. They have no idea when the software will be ready or when the car can be delivered, anyone else heard of this issue???

Re: Dealer ceramic coating!?!

On my last Macan I had it free within the deal, they valued it at £850, I am told I can have it done locally for £350.
Not sure on the benefits really but I would never pay £1200.

Re: Dead Bug in Rear Lamp

I bought my car new in January 2019, in July 2019 I noticed bugs in both lamps and I contacted the OPC. At first they refused warranty so I wrote to the dealer principal and they did a 100% turnaround and agreed that as the lamps are sealed this must have been from the build. Both rear lamps were re...

I had bugs in the rear lamps, I had both lamps replaced under warranty, apparently you have to remove the whole rear bumper to change the lamps!

Re: Squealing brakes!

I bought a brand new Audi TT 1st March, the brakes squealed from the first day and I took it back. I believe the discs had got rusty while the car was in the stockyard and they only cleaned them by driving the car, this only puts lots of rust onto the pads and you could actually see rust lines on th...

Re: Purchased facelift 2019 Macan 2.0

Hi Rash, welcome to the forum and Porsche ownership. I bought a new 2.0L Macan January 2019, coming from an SQ5 I thought power/speed might be an issue but it never has been. Most the time however it is only me in the car and so far I have only done 13,000 miles, mostly to the golf club and back. I ...
