Re: New RSQ3

my sister has a new Q3 s-line and it feels very low rent and plasticky inside compared to my Macan (but mine does have the full extended leather) A 'standard' Macan is also quite plasticky. A dealer once told me that once you've stepped inside a Macan with full leather interior, it's hard to go bac...

Re: The £82k Macan S

Seems crazy to do this. For that money, we're talking a very well specced Macan Turbo. I know which I'd take.

Re: New Macan Out in 2021

So current ICE Macan (probably mk3 with perhaps a fancy new dash to match the EV version) will still be available alongside the new EV Macan in 2021. This seems to be causing much confusion, but the current Macan is the mark 1. The next Macan, the all-electric model, is the mark 2. The existing mar...

Not only do I give and receive the occasional nods, but an identical Macan to mine parked behind me in the local Asda car park ;)
Neither car parked very well! :D

Re: GTS Release?

Spoke to a dealer who said the new Macan GTS won't sound as good as the existing one. He said the same about the Turbo, although there's two reasons for that. Firstly 'downsizing' from a 3.6 to 2.9 engine, however the main reason being the new particulate filter. Gone are the pops and crackles assoc...

Re: Porsche PCP - Help !!!

Congratulations on the order. You'll like the S. Didn't realise it was a six month wait. I'm absolutely gobsmacked though at a financial advisor buying a car on PCP, especially so near retirement!!! :o

Re: Porsche PCP - Help !!!

I'd wait, no question. Especially as you ultimately want to buy cash. Your Jag may be worth a little less, but a 67 plate Macan will also be worth less by then. (Possibly depreciated more than your Jag has, so might even be in your favour.)

Re: Lack of transparency on service regime

When you buy an Audi they ask about your expected usage and put it on an appropriate time based or condition based service regime. I've never really understood why Audi and others do this. You shouldn't have to explain to the dealer how to plan to use your new car, for them to preset the service re...

Re: Lack of transparency on service regime

I've just double checked my car and it says another year to the minor service, which will be two years from new. It's another two years again to the major service. Porsche quote £575 for the first two-year minor service, then £1,250 for the four-year major service. This averages £456 a year, which I...
