Re: Insurance

I would guess “commuting” is an extra risk due to the high levels of traffic on the roads when everyone else is commuting?? Still feels like a big con to me, miles is miles… I added 'commuting to work' over and above SD&P during the life of a previous policy, it had no impact on the premium, th...

Re: Macan GTS Order Placed - opinions please

Why take the higher risk with comfort access when you still have to use a key to start the car anyway, albeit a dummy that resides in the ignition full-time. I keep my Porsche key on the supplied key fob and separate from my house/any other keys. Should the worse happen and they break in to take you...

Re: Cracked windscreen

You might find that if you want to use an main dealer instead of your insurance companies recommended supplier (Autoglass) that you will have to pay a premium over and above your agreed windscreen excess than if you stick with Autoglass. Not had to have a windscreen replaced so can't help on how the...

Re: Picked up a screw

Many thanks to everyone for the fast replies. Kwikfit too busy this afternoon but booked in first thing tomorrow. They thought should be repairable 🤞 but gave me the story of bloke who picked up a screw in his new M4 on the drive home from dealer pickup. I had 3 punctures on my last Macan, all fixe...

Re: First service add ons

Re Drains being included in the standard service I can email them to see whether they are Is there anything official anyone has that confirms that they are? I think each OPC does their own things here, it is worth checking what is 'included' within your service, I checked with Tewkesbury OPC and th...

Re: Test drive booked
Did you find it easy to discount the Maserati Grecale Modena or was it this forum that helped you with your final decision to opt for the older technology you find in a Macan................??
It took 2-test drives in each, innumerate you tube videos and a couple of other showroom ...

Re: Speed limit indicator

I do the 4 rows but the speed indicator does cover a small portion of the 4th row I think the Porsche version is a bit of an afterthought, why did they stick it in the bottom right hand corner on one of the MFD displays which as Skyway has said just blocks the data on the 4th row. I know you can sc...

Re: Tool Update

It is a bit annoying, struggling to clean the Macan roof (unless you are a tall person) I stand on a Screwfix supplied aluminum work platform, almost impossible to get to the centre of the roof without something like this, unless of course you are like my Grandson who is 6'9" but he's ne...
