Re: Macan BEV v Facelift

Lexus = boring, dull, totally uninspiring dross. The fact that they may be reliable is of very little consolation. Toyota = like Lexus, but cheaper Mazda = functional, but about as exciting as choosing a dishwasher Subaru = weird noisy plasticky ugliness Kia = the sensible budget choice and some in...

Re: Macan BEV v Facelift

I am not a fan of Toyota, but they are doing most things right and it shows: https://twitter.com/spectatorindex/status/1094596853159452672?s=09 I am somewhat surprised that Audi ranks higher then Porsche [emoji2957] Lexus = boring, dull, totally uninspiring dross. Re: February Cleanup

Obviously it's because you had the Williams Ceramic treatment first and then this gives you a good basis for for your extra loving polishing. Have you done anything extra on the sideblades and underside plastic panels etc ? Looking really good. BenMacan Thanks BenMacan Yes you’re right, the William...

Re: February Cleanup

Wow! Showroom condition! I like the reflection of tree branches on the bonnet of your car. Is this what they call black mirror? Thanks Pivot! I’m not really sure if black mirror is the term used, but it is very shiny! I think the Sonax helped a lot with that. First time using it but I’m impressed

February Cleanup

Hi All Thought I’d give the Macan a well needed cleanup, first one in February. I used some Sonax Brilliant Detailer for the first time too - it looks to have left a nice shine on the bodywork. Will be interesting to see the water beading effect when it rains. I also used Meguiar’s Wheel and Tire Cl...

Re: Hi First Porsche!

I tried the PDK reset for the first time today. My Macan had seemed a little sluggish at low revs, but as it’s my first Macan and I’ve only had it a month (although it is a 65 plate), I wasn’t too sure what I should expect. But having done the reset, I can immediately notice the difference. No more...
