Re: RAC Warranty

I maybe one of the few that actually managed to extract cash from RAC / the Warranty Group. I successfully had them cover an out of Porsche-warranty transfer case replacement (circa £4k) and complete replacement of an air suspension strut that had failed, approx £1k. Only issue is their labour rate ...

Re: Sagging of air suspension; caused by leak?

I know what you mean about timing, it's a headache you really don't need at this time of year. Saying that, you should be fine driving it around over Christmas providing it re-inflates. I needed to give it a nudge a couple of times, but was never really an issue. If they absolutely don't want you t...

Re: Sagging of air suspension; caused by leak?

Paulyonder, I had exactly your issue a few months back. Front passenger side leak - after 3-4 days the bodywork was virtually sitting on the tyre. Like you my car often sits for 7-10 days in between uses, so was very noticeable. See my thread (if I've inserted the link correctly): [url]https://www....

Re: Sagging of air suspension; caused by leak?

Thanks for this. Have downloaded now. I am still a little suspicious. Last drove it on Sunday evening, used my exceptionally scientific 'finger-width' measurement approach. Day 1, 4.5 fingers fit easy. It's now day 3 and I can't even get 2 in on the suspect side... Out of interest I'd be interested ...

Re: Sagging of air suspension; caused by leak?

ah ha!

Great find, thank you for this. I felt I'd done my share of googling but clearly not.

Will keep an eye on it and see if I noticed any kind of accelerated sagging!

Sagging of air suspension; caused by leak?

Hi all, Just wondered if anyone had experienced issues with the air suspension? I'd say my Macan is used every 1-2 weeks, so not a daily driver, but have recently noticed the front passenger side 'sag' over a period of 3-4 days. As soon as the car is turned on, the compressor kicks in and evens up t...

Re: Transfer Box Replacement

Gah, didn't want this to be my first post on the forum, but after only 8 days of Macan ownership another potential transfer box issue. Its a late 2015 Macan S, literally hit 30k miles over the weekend. Purchased from an indie dealer in late Dec 18', I actually felt something everso slightly odd pul...

Re: Transfer box - Survey of members

Petrol S 2014. Symptoms at 21,500 miles. OPC insisted that the problem was drive shafts which were replaced at a cost of £2600 but I only paid £500 of that despite the car being outside warranty. The car was part exchanged for a new GTS a few thousand miles later. GTS has done 5,300 miles no proble...
