Re: Speed sensor
From obd codes website but don’t think it is ABS. Paul If your OBD-II equipped vehicle has stored a code P2162, it means that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected a discrepancy between two separate vehicle (output) speed sensors. The individual vehicle (output) sped sensors have been des...

Re: Insurance
Aviva also underwrite Lockton Insurance through the owners club and I am told they are excellent during the claims process. Hoping that I wont need to validate that opinion for myself

Re: Price increase
Whilst at my OPC this morning I was told that the price increase is the usual MY uplift. They are now working on MY25 but said it would be a week before they knew what spec changes their would be this year. I wonder if you will get the lower price if your car is built and delivered as MY24 ie pre-fa...

Re: Sainsburys 97 octane super unleaded
Thanks Neil but my local Esso is run by Tesco so win win for me. Low price, another 6p off and great fuel.

Re: Sainsburys 97 octane super unleaded
Just received the following from Esso so together with 6p off via PCGB card this looks like a good option to me. New Esso Synergy Supreme 99 petrol triple cleans and protects your engine – and includes more molecules engineered to reduce friction in your engine and help moving parts work more effici...

I suspect the 280 will include a 30min health check which they seem to tag on to every booking.

Re: Car Insurance ( Again)
@Scooby_Doo, that has got me thinking. Why do I pay £20/25 for each of my four policies when a single £15 covers them all. Does anyone else do separate Motor Legal? RAC the best? Any Cons to consider?

Re: Macan EV Official Launch Date!
@Jon, it does work like existing limiters but you don’t set the limit. Cameras read the speed limit signs (with maybe some help from Google) and your max speed is set accordingly.

Re: Macan EV Official Launch Date!
Does anyone know if the Macan EV will be considered a new car and be required to have a mandatory speed limiter set by default?
