Re: Four wheel alignment.
I've used Pro-Grip in Larbert for my Macan and a Boxster before that. Depending on where you are in Edinburgh, it is not that far.

Re: Macan S D - 2017
You should be able to answer the question from the parts diagram. Porsche Parts Catalogue from Porsche UK website: https://www.porsche.com/uk/accessoriesandservice/porscheservice/serviceandorgininalparts/originalparts/ Select model then download. Near the top you will see the option codes to see whi...

Re: Warning Lights
Please let us know what they said. I am no expert but I can't think how a speed sensor failure would be related to transfer box.

Re: SD Card - only 1000 files showing
I suspect if you look at the contents of the SD card on a computer you will find it actually has 2 folders. One with the first 1000 songs and the next with 700 songs. I imagine the Macan has found the first folder and read through that but not gone on to read the other folder. I imagine this can be ...

Re: Anyone do there own repairs
Hi Guy Thanks for your kind words. I just had a look on ebay and it seems they are offering an even better version of the iCarsoft V2.0 as it now can allow 10 marks not just 5. I have the CR V2.0(1+4) but CR V2.0(1+9) is available for around £160. Regarding functionality it makes no difference for a...

Re: Help! Vibration noise to escalated to Porsche Germany
There are a few Porsche specialists in Scotland but not sure who would be best placed to look at a Macan given relatively few will be getting seen by indies compared to other Porsche models. I have used and been pleased with service from David Phillips in Edinburgh although not had cause to have my ...

Re: ATF Service - lower road range question
Charles, well observed; it is lower load range. I asked my local OPC and they confirmed cycling round drive, park, neutral, reverse is what should be done. No need to switch to manual.
Thanks for the other replies too.

ATF Service - lower road range question
When repairing the front end of my car I knew I would have to top up the ATF. I established that the ATF had not been changed at 40,000 miles, so I decided to drain the remaining fluid and change the filter at the same time. That went more or less as expected. New crush washer on the drain plug and ...

Re: Anyone do there own repairs
I'm not familiar with that tool. I have an iCarSoft CR2.0 which allows errors codes to be read and reset as well as other functions. It was good enough to clear 133 errors (well, 132 of them with the remaining one about overdue service item I think). Updates are available to download online and no a...

Re: Replacing exterior side blades
Option 6H1 - Door Design Trim - Vehicle Colour, looks to be held on with adhesive tape. If you check out the Parts Catalogue available from Porsche GB website you will see what I mean. The part that is called 'Repair Set Adhesive Tape' has one part number for left front and rear (95B 898 633) and an...
