Re: Connect services
Hiya From chatting to Porsche Connect Support, there's an issue with account activation in some cases. Same issue as above, click all the conditions and then its asks you to pay etc, some apps aren't active. Apparently they are working on it and all of these accounts are on one ticket. Would be good...

Re: Payment Methods
Paid deposits on credit card and then final payment by internet banking (first direct), but did have to call them to send. Had to chase the dealer for the details though...and they laughed when I said it was for Dick Lovett

Re: Porsche Car Connect APP
Quick update from the Porsche Connect team. Seems to be a bit of an issue with activating the apps on some accounts and we are all under one big ticket now   Also with the climate button appearing. They suggested that this is an option on the Hybrid vehicles, so looking into it as it shoul...

Can anyone tell me what remote services are available in the UK via the connect APP in the new Macan. I'm not 100% sure if on the Macan 1 you could lock/unlock the doors remotely? On the Macan 2 I'm struggling to find this function so presume it's not available. Also anyone seen the "climate&q...

Cool! Thanks!Paul wrote: ↑Thu Jan 31, 2019 7:32 pm ^^
if the car is on finance, no matter what the type of finance, any good dealership will be chasing you when the residual value vs finance outstanding gives roughly a 10% equity for the next deposit, or they calculate they can change you for a similar monthly payment.

PCP experience with Porsche
Hiya Have always bought cars outright with cash and was going to do the same with my new Macan S order, but I just wanted to check what all the fuss was about with PCP. Obviously the dealers are keen to sign you up as the amount of interest is ludicrous if you take it to completion. But the dealer i...

Agreed!Nuclear Nick wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 9:26 pm I agree with VanB. Driver aids can be useful but maybe we can become overreliant on them sometimes and perhaps overconfident when using them. Basic driving skills rule!
