Best loan car in the world? Probably....

My 718 Cayman came with a stone chip in the screen which had been badly repaired and needless to say I was not happy about it. Long story short the principal at East London Porsche agreed they had fallen short of their usual high standards and will replace the screen free of charge. Last week the sc...

Re: Porsche Quality!

Quick update.....principle got back to me and agreed they fell below their own standards and will replace the windscreen for me.

Fair play to East London Porsche....now a very happy customer. :D

Porsche Quality!

I bought a 718 Cayman a few weeks back and when I initially viewed it I went round the whole car inspecting every inch and as you would expect for a car with 100 miles on the clock, it was pristine. When I collected the car and ambled round the car beaming with excitement and pride I then spotted a ...

Re: Insurance

When I got my Cayman recently I went straight to NFU for a quote....after 20 or so painful minutes they quoted £1500!

Eventually got the best price of £850 from QMH....which I was!

Re: My First Porsche - but which one!

WOW! What a day. Haven't stopped smiling and can't stop looking out the window at it like some weirdo! The Car Originally I was after a Macan as that is the sensible option but my heart yearned for a Cayman as I just couldn't walk past one without staring. After test driving one with the missus we w...

Re: My First Porsche - but which one!

I finally pulled the trigger on a 718 Cayman and today I pick it up. :-) Up early as super excited like a kid at Christmas but still tinged with a little trepidation of having to plonk down a huge wedge of cash. Never in a million years did I think I would get to own a Porsche and over the last two ...

Re: Petrol tank on handover

Just goes to show whats possible if a Porsche isnt a must have . Car sales, including Porsche are tanking at the moment so its different world out there. An SE can smell desperation to buy at 100yds so full price the only option, but if you have a pocket full of money that you might spend somewhere...

Re: Wheel choice v maintenance

Thanks for the feedback guys. I decided to go for the Carrera S in the end. I just couldn't decide between the two but given 80-90% of people I asked chose the S then that seemed like a wise choice! Only issue is that there is a 2 week delay on them! Grrrrrr.....not good at waiting and just want my ...
