Re: New Discs and Pads required

Thanks all for the information. Design911 don't list any brakes for Macan S mark 2. Are they the same as the original version?

New Discs and Pads required

How do, Done 21,000 miles and Porsche have reported all brakes need doing. Front pads worn 95% :) Porsche have quoted nearly £2000 for replacements. I'm capable of doing them myself but I'm actually struggling to find a place that can supply them or alternatives? Anyone got any recommendations or li...

Racechip on 2019 S

Bought in lockdown, £140 on my insurance, (10-20% increase) installed it, tested it out when going to Sainsbury's.

Transforms the S. These engines really respond to a chip. 0-62 ~ 4.7 seconds. Second gear performance really kicks you in the side.

Re: Macan - problems

Oh yeah back to the car. I spoke to a nice chap today and told me my position and formally requested Porsche give me a replacement or money back. I'm not sure how I stand on the £1K spent on 7 year ceramic covering or the Tax on a new car if they refund me. (not my preferred option) but if they cant...

Re: Macan - problems

Yeah we have another car which we can use most of the time. The macan is needed at weekends really. 718 is a really good car. Wouldn't want to live with one day in day out but as a 4 day short term loan. Wow. Can't imagine what the 718 S is like.

Re: Macan - problems

Thanks, I'm with Porsche Newcastle. The one good thing about it is I sometimes get a 718 boxster as a courtesy car :)

Macan - problems

Hi All, I've had my 2019 Macan for nearly 6 months and out of all the cars I've had this has not be the worst experience I've had of a new car and I'm on here to find out if anyone is having similar problems? The car has now been in with Porsche 4 times, once with Heated seats not working, 3 times n...

Re: New Macan S MPG?

2000 miles in on a new S. ~24mpg from ~18 when brand new. Pretty good IMO but then again i have faulty A/C in the car so that probably saves 1-2mpg :P
