Re: My Macan has been ordered

I have the Macan S in similar spec (volcano grey, 21 rs spider, Crest in headrest etc). I dont have any issues with the 18 way seats... the side bolsters are higher than others but the seats are so comfortable and sporty. Have u considered privacy glass and PASM? Personal options but think the priva...

Re: Newbie ordering a Macan S

Had 2 Audi q5 prior to macan S. On all 3 I have got the pano roof and wouldn't want a car without it. Makes it so much lighter and airy, I never have the blind across either. I also do have it open with a bit rather than have AC on, as mich fresher feeling (have had a fair few convertibles before so...

Re: PORSCHE NEWBIE - ORDER PLACED!

I would definitely keep the Pano roof, use mine all the time - open, tilted or sun shade back - be it winter or summer in the UK. It is the option that is most specced and not only that it makes the interior much brighter in a dark car (I have volcano grey).

Re: Collected Macan S

Can you just not stream from your mobile phone connected via bluetoorh for spotify etc?

Nice spec, mine is similar but volcano grey. Similar experience and view to you. I have managed about 30mpg on decent runs e.g. over 100 miles

Re: SPORT CHRONO OR NOT

I had the sport chrono in Boxster S .... think I only used it twice and that was more to play around with it. I have not bothered with it on my Mk2 Macan S. Prefer to spend the £ on other options.

Re: Software update fail

I have had same issue, and have been doing lots of short trips so I suspect it is not having enough time to download. I have ignored up to now as doesnt seem to be an issue. Perhaps if still there in a week, then it is a fault with the update file on Porsche's side and they need to address

Re: Crayon Macan S

I have the new S with same 21 wheels. I do have PASM as a friend with BMW suggested it improves the ride. If I am honest I struggle to notice the difference between comfort, sport and sport plus settings ... although I do leave it in comfort most of the time. I don't think u will have a problem with...

Re: Running in

I was told use 98 Octane for at least 1 in 3 of your fill ups. I wasnt given any warnings about driving style, for new S or any previous cars including 2 boxster S..... I think so long as not doing anything ridiculous then it shouldn't matter. Didn't buy a new car to drive like Miss Daisy !

Re: Macan 2L MPG

I got the 3L S version a few weeks ago. On a 60mile journey, driving normally, I got 29mpg which i was impressed with. On shorter journey of about 10 miles then getting about 22mpg. Whilst not great mpg figures, they are better than i thought would be ... i came from a 2 litre diesel cabriolet and y...
