Bonnet position on facelift (MY21 car)
Hi I have an MY21 GTS and the bonnet has always annoyed me, it just doesn't seem to align with the other panels well. Should you be able to see daylight between the bonnet and the headlight, or should the bonnet rest on the rubber seal around the headlight? IMG_9427.JPG Should the top of the bonnet ...

Re: Rear camera
Camera on out 2016 Audi Q7 was far superior to that on macan II. Macan is on a par with the XC90.

Re: Porsche Connect + Data Connection with iPhone
Plugged in a Three data sim and have had it working at least. However driving up the a12 and the music on amazon music kept cutting out. Not sure if it's the coverage of the 3 network (I'm on 02 usually), or just that the PCM doesn't buffer enough. Never had any problems using o2 on the volvo, it's ...

Re: Porsche Connect + Data Connection with iPhone
Only problem with using Bluetooth to play Amazon Music, is the need to control it on your phone. I thought the Porsche had Amazon Music natively (i.e. would play direct from the PCM, with a data connection and the login etc. all setup (like Spotify does in our Volvo)), so was disappointed when I rea...

Re: Guide to adding speed camera POIs to the PCM4 Sat Nav
Hi FlyingBiker,Just out of interest can you tell me where the switches for the front heated seats are on your 2021 Macan .Mine is somewhere on the high seas ,but I am intrigued to know if the heated seat switch is in the same place for the front seats and if it has the staged light buttons. Just go...

Re: Porsche Connect + Data Connection with iPhone
Cheap SIMS today only, ends at Midnight https://www.macanforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=203570#p203570 Thanks, I ordered one this morning already - but really should not need to use one!! Very bad implementation to require the phone to connect via WiFi to the car to use Connect and to not be able to ...

Porsche Connect + Data Connection with iPhone
Following on from my earlier post, I would like to know if anyone has managed to get their Gen 2 Macan setup so they can connect to their iPhone to use Porsche Connect Apps AND to use their iPhone as the internet connection? It appears you need to connect the Phone to the Car's WiFi hotspot to use P...

Re: Getting online and setting the car up...
At the moment I am an iPhone user. So I have the option of CarPlay (which I think uses Bluetooth - as opposed to requiring the phone to connect to the car via WiFi).
However, I am planning a move back to Android in the near future!

Re: Porsche Car Connect
I had a trial of Porsche car connect but haven’t bothered renewing. You can lock the car and fold the mirrors but not much else. The JLR implementation of remote services (free for first three years) was much better as you could lock/unlock and remote start the car with climate settings on those bi...

Re: Getting online and setting the car up...
Thanks, yes I do plan to stream music. I had rather naïvely assumed that I could use the data on my phone to stream it (as it appears to need my phone connected to it, in order to stream it). Seems strange it needs your phone connected to the car's wifi to make the apps work (am guessing this is jus...
