Re: Annoying rattle
You could take it back to your OPC.
However, that may invalidate your warranty due to the unauthorised modification of adding house keys to your car key.
I’d get a local specialist to remove them

Re: Going from Macan s to Cayman s or gts.
I didn’t think it felt like a barge at all. I know it’s wider than the 718 and even the Macan I sold, but in all honesty when your that low to the road it is no more difficult to position than my Honda S2000.

Re: Going from Macan s to Cayman s or gts.
Thanks for the very useful and informative comments on the Cayman driving characteristics.
I will report back on the comparison with the AWD
F-Type after my 718 test drive on Friday.

Going from Macan s to Cayman s or gts.
Having now sold my 4 month old Macan S for not being exciting enough, I am in need of info from those with owner experience of the Cayman S or GTS. Tested a Jag F type 3.0 AWD 380ps today which sounded great and drove well. Test driving a 718 S on Friday but I’m a bit concerned with the engine sound...

Re: New Macan S MPG?
My fuelly app shows an average of 26mpg after 1000 miles in the new "S" The best figure for a tank of petrol was 30mpg, achieved by my wife on a round trip of 350 miles to the Cotswolds. The worst figure or better description "most fun" was 18mpg over the tankful by myself checki...

Re: Lake Como Trip.
Great route link Paul.
How many miles were you covering per day on your leisurely (non speeding) Alps drive?
As we are going to take in Como too, would you advise doing this route on the way to, or back from taking in Monaco.

Re: Lake Como Trip.
I did the Como Road last time and it was very enjoyable. Although, that was in a “Smart for four” hire car I had collected from the airport, so less of a worry.
Great info on the mountain roads.
Hopefully the wife will look up from internet shopping on her phone long enough to see some of it.

Lake Como Trip.
My wife has decided it would be nice to take our new Macan S for a drive to Lake Como in early June. We have around 2/3 weeks to get there and back, including 3 nights in Bellagio. My only thoughts are; 1) I don't want to sit on toll roads all of the way. 2) I have to go through Monaco at some point...
